GLUCANIL -RC(LIQUID GLUCOSE) Liquid Glucose is a thick syrup obtained by partial hydrolysis of starch , a process that cleaves the bonds linking the simple sugar units i.e. Glucose . It is an aqeous solution of nutritive saccharides obtained by starch hydrolysis.

It is usually colourless , possessing sweet odour and highly viscous liquid with DE of 40 - 46 % and solid content of 82 -85 % .Its CAS registry No. is 8029-43-4. Liquid Glucose , Glucose syrup and Corn syrups are synonyms.

APPLICATIONS:

Glucanil-RC prevents crystallisation and improves texture and shelf life of the finished product in case of hard boiled candies.

A desired gum consistency can be obtained in chewing gum by using Glucanil-RC.

Glucanil-RC is advisable to enhance brightness and transperancy and to reduce sweetness in candied fruits.

Glucanil-RC is used in frozen desserts to provide body and shape.

Glucanil-RC incorporation can contribute to better browning , enhanced moistness, improved crispness , decreased brittleness and longer shelf life in the baked products.

Glucanil-RC can be used to increase viscosity without unduly rising sweetneess.
Storage & Handling :
When stored and handled under suitable and hygeinic conditions in a well sanitised tank/ drums , Glucose syrup âââ¬ÃÅs shelf life is six months.
